Wooran Cultural Foundation’s second curated textile exhibition, 《Texture of Rest》, offers modern individuals who are losing their sense of self amid a flood of information and relationships a chance to reweave their fragmented identities through the unique qualities of textiles: connection and patience. In this exhibition, textiles go beyond being mere objects of contemplation to offer a “living journey of healing” that crosses the threshold of our inner selves, honestly traverses the depths of pain, and leads us toward true peace. The exhibition suggests that genuine peace can only be encountered when we face pain rather than turn away from it. By briefly switching off the noise of the outside world and engaging in an intense dialogue with your inner self, you can experience the texture of purified rest that awaits at the end of the journey.
